Description
The peacock epitomizes the resort's distinct take on "East meets West". A native bird of India, peacocks were exported into other parts of Asia and Europe in ancient times. These brilliantly colored creatures have since been used as symbols in both Eastern and Western cultures.
Recognized the world over as an appreciation of beauty, wealth, and elegance, the peacock also stands for the beauty, wealth, and elegance to be found in every culture it is a part of.
The Visionary
Mr. Hans Schoof, German by birth yet Boholano at heart, is man with a passion for travel, gourmet, art, and history. Hans and his wife, Lani, built The Peacock Garden with a vision of a luxury destination where every detail is meticulously executed and given a personal touch.
The Peacock Garden is filled with many items from and inspired by their private collections and interests, including a special collection on Jose Rizal, the Philippine National Hero.

The Peacock Garden is located in Laya, Baclayon, on the island of Bohol, Philippines.
