Description
In the heart of old Cebu amidst the City Hall, Magellan's
Cross and waterfront port area, lies a rugged country and western eatery
with a name familiar to the Cebuanos as Cebu itself. Eddie's Log Cabin,
Cebu's first restaurant still serving to date first opened its doors in
January of 1950.
Built with the old west in mind, the interior is
cool and cozy with logs lining the walls. Décor consists of signs
and posters depicting American humor and if you look close enough you
will see initials branded on the logs. Initials of some of Eddie's buddies
along with society and political figures that would frequent the place
Accomodation
The hotels 52 luxurious guest rooms are spacious
and comfortable. All rooms are equipped with deluxe amenities, which include
cable television, bedside light control panels, and room service.
Dining
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and
dinner and is famous for its sizzling U.S. steak, fresh Corned beef brisket,
Navy bean soup and grandma Nell's famous Coconut cream pie.
Facilities and Amenities
A function room is available for small meetings,
seminars, and interviews of up to 20 attendees. It is equipped with audio-visual
facilities and conference equipment. A highly-trained team of banquet
and conference planners will see to it that every function is well-organized.
Modern office equipment like a fax machine, typewriter,
