Island Hopping Adventure: A day of island hopping will give you a hearty fill of Palawan’s stunning seascape and marine wealth; offer opportunities to luxuriate in crystalline blue waters amidst tropical settings; and delight you with simple island activities. Snorkelling to view a mesmerizing spectrum of sea life is a must! So is open sea fish feeding!
Stop-overs include: Starfish Island, Snake Island and Panbato Reef with passing tours to other Honda Bay islands. Activities include: open sea fish feeding, snorkeling in prime snorkeling sites (gear available for rent), and swimming in powdery white sand beaches.
Underground River & Cave Tour:The 2 ½ hours land travel on rough road to Sabang allows you to feast your eyes on Puerto Princessa’s rich countryside scenery; vast mangroves and coral reefs. You’ll also enjoy a passing tour to Ulugan Bay.
Rugged limestone and marble cliffs of Mt. St Paul welcome you upon arrival. The short hike to the underground river through the monkey trail (yes, with real monkeys swinging from tree to tree!) is truly an experience. On board a paddled boat (banca) w/ an experienced boatman/caveguide, explore the pitch dark inner recesses of the navigable portion of the cave and get awe struck with the stalactite and stalagmite rock formations. Tour ends with a beachside picnic lunch and you can hit the beach right after!
Alternatively, you can skip swimming and take a paddled tour through a mangrove forest for a little extra fee. Time permitting, a side trip to Vietville can also be arranged at no cost. |
